Mr and Mrs Phillips wanted to cut their electricity usage, greenhouse gas emissions and overall impact on the environment. They decided on a 7.2kW PV system with 24 Enphase S270 Micro Inverter and 24 x 300w Trina Solar Honey Mono Panels. This system was expertly designed to significantly cut their electricity consumption from the grid. They are delighted with the performance of their solar PV system and the service provided from A.N.E Electrical and Solar.
“Finding a company that could give us the best balance of quality and price, as well as someone who we could feel we could trust, was a difficult task. However, when meeting Adam, straight away we felt that he had our needs as a priority and we didn’t feel like we were just another sale.”
Mr and Mrs Phillips cited an already expensive quarterly usage and increasing electricity bills as their main motivation to install a solar PV system in addition to helping the environment.
“I was really disappointed with my power bills and hated having to monitor what electrical items I was using all the time. Prior to having the solar PV system installed, our quarterly bill was around $1300 but now its down to around $400 – $500. Doing our part for the environment was also a big plus. Whether you believe in global warming or not, the air I breathe will be that little bit clearer now that I’m drawing power from the sun rather than coal-fired power stations.”
Once the solar PV system was installed, A.N.E Electrical and Solar could accurately monitor the usage and make some adjustments to get the most out of the solar PV system.
“The after sales service from Adam and his team has been outstanding. Since having the system installed, we had them come back to install a timer and contactor to control our outdoor SPA so it doesn’t use power during peak times and so it also utilises the power generated from our solar PV system during the day.”
With the solar PV system coming up to its first full year in operation, it has produced 10.2MWh with estimated savings of $1902.65 and a Return on Investment (ROI) of 4 – 5 years.
“The solar PV system is amazing. Our bills are around $400 – $500 now. Going from $1300 to $500 max bills is awesome and I think everyone needs to know about these savings. The reward is well worth the effort but that includes putting effort into finding the right person to do the job. I hear so many horror solar installation stories, so I want to tell everyone about how positive this experience has been.”
